Behavioral, Neurological, & Psychological Studies
Diet is used in various ways to study behavior, psychology, and neurological disorders.
Research of conditioned response, cognitive behavior, and similar studies, uses "precision food pellets" or "tablets" such as first used with rats by Harvard Professor B. F. Skinner. See Tablets.
Diets can also be used for dosing of medications and test compounds in studying pharmacological treatment of these disorders.
