TestDiet^® ISO 9002 Production Laboratory

All TestDiet^® formulas are produced exclusively at our TestDiet^® production laboratory in Richmond, Indiana, USA. As a continued commitment to the laboratory animal research community, TestDiet^® & LabDiet^® took the lead to become the first U.S. laboratory animal diet manufacturing plant to become ISO 9002 Certified, on November 5, 1996. We maintain current registration, conforming to all existing standards.

Our facility is used exclusively for production of TestDiet^® and Mazuri^® (zoo animal) products. All required OSHA and other regulatory inspections are routinely made with appropriate records made, kept, and available for examination. Pest control is meticulously maintained.

We never compromise on the integrity of our products – we never endanger the validity and accuracy of your research, nor the safety and health of your animals and staff. Therefore, we do not handle any toxins, carcinogens, mutagens, radioactive substances, controlled dangerous substances (CDS), or live organisms (viruses, bacteria, etc.). Thus, you are assured that no dangerous or deleterious cross-contamination will occur.

We carefully and thoroughly screen every supplier before adding them to our authorized supplier list. Then we monitor their performance to ensure that our quality standards are maintained. All ingredient protocols are part of ISO 9002 Certification documentation. Not only is every supplier carefully monitored, but also every shipment. Each shipment is inspected for possible contaminants. The protein and fiber content of key ingredients are analyzed and other tests verify individual ingredients.
