Mix with an appropriate amount of water immediately prior to feeding the animal. It may be
necessary to mix using a wire whip. A mixture of 37.5% water and 62.5% diet
will yield a mixture with the consistency of mashed potatoes. A mixture of 43% water and
57% diet is smooth and will flow to level. At the above ratio there will be settling out
of solid parts of the diet.
